In February of 2007 it was moved over to Google's Blogger to have a more professional look. It was also good timing because AOL Journals was eventually discontinued.
This blog covers the Boston Red Sox from the perspective of a diehard fan and female sportswriter. Batter-up with Bruno is filled with weekly and game recaps, team and player analysis, just for fun posts, and the occasional op-ed. It also follows coverage of the changing Boston sports media industry and college newspapers.
Batter-up with Bruno has been linked and featured on Boston Sports Media Watch, SOX & Dawgs, Sox Addict, Fang's Bites(multiple times), Big League Screw, Yankee Addicts, Red Sox Monster and masslive.com (The Springfield Republican's website) saluting sports columnist Garry Brown on his retirement.
